About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at MY ROTI PLACE SQUARE ONE. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of ethnic dishes to meet the high standards of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus, estimate food requirements, and requisition ingredients and supplies.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas, train staff in food preparation and handling, and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including preparing dishes to meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, and requires attention to detail.
