Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Co-op Assistant Engineer to join our team at Huawei Technologies Canada Co., Ltd.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough source code analysis, research, testing, and implementation on mobile applications.
  • Collaborate with various teams to achieve project goals.
  • Contribute to the development of Huawei's latest cutting-edge mobile platform.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in C/C++, Java, and TypeScript application development.
  • Strong knowledge of Java and C/C++ programming models.
  • Familiarity with mobile development, including Android and iOS.
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning concepts.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, frameworks, open-source tools, and development languages.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and team communication skills.
  • Experience in Android and OpenHarmony development with ArkTS and ArkUI is an asset.
