We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Department Head to join our team at Groupe Polygon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of internal software and leading a team of 10 talented individuals.
Key Responsibilities- Operations/Project Management (33%)
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of all development activities and align the project roadmap with organizational objectives.
- Effectively prioritize workload and manage complex projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Personnel Management (33%)
- Provide guidance and coaching to team members through regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of a highly skilled development team.
- Internal Client Management (33%)
- Collaborate with internal clients to understand their needs and develop software solutions that meet their requirements.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to update them on project progress.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French and English.
- Strong knowledge of project management methods, including Agile, Scrum, and Kanban.
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills.
- Strong organizational and priority management skills.
- Good writing ability.
- Strong relational skills.
