Job Title: Associate Lawyer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Associate Lawyer to join our team at Taylor MacLellan Cochrane. As an Associate Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing legal advice and representation to our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a strong background in law and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for advising clients on their legal rights and obligations, as well as performing administrative tasks related to the practice of law.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and obligations
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the practice of law
  • Represent clients in court and tribunals
  • Research and gather evidence
  • Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in law
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in law
  • Membership in the Canadian Bar Association and a provincial or territorial law society
  • Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word
