About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Package Handler to join our team at Packaging Depot. As a Package Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our courier and parcel express service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Accurate Address Databases: Update names and locations to ensure efficient mail delivery.
  • Print and Photocopy Materials: Produce high-quality documents and labels for letters, parcels, and packages.
  • Process Mail and Packages: Sort, bundle, and route mail into the proper delivery stream, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Ensure the proper functioning of print shop and mailing house equipment.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks: Record and balance daily transactions, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Language Skills: Hindi, Panjabi (Punjabi), and English.
  • Work Setting: Courier and parcel express service.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, and MS Word.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Attention to detail, bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, and repetitive tasks.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, ability to multitask, and a permanent work term.
