Position OverviewAs the Utility Services Operations Manager for Rocky View County, you will play a pivotal role in transforming utility service delivery in one of Alberta's most significant and dynamic regions. Rocky View County is among the most populated municipal counties and boasts the fifth largest equalized assessment base in the province. Our robust economic development strategy emphasizes investment attraction, business retention, and sector diversification, creating abundant opportunities for both residents and industries.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the operations and delivery of water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste and recycling services, ensuring full compliance with relevant regulatory approvals.
- Formulate strategies and provide oversight for all operations and contract portfolios related to these services, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Offer leadership, coordination, collaboration, and direction to ensure timely, accurate, effective, and efficient service delivery to staff, residents, and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop both short- and long-term strategies for the department.
