Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Bidding: Develop and lead estimates on various construction projects, utilizing your expertise to create accurate and competitive bids.
  • Project Management: Collaborate with clients, trades, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes, while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market trends and opportunities, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and develop team members to enhance productivity, innovation, and collaboration within the pre-construction department.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Experience: 10+ years of construction estimating experience, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality estimates and bids.
  • Knowledge: In-depth understanding of construction materials, techniques, and industry standards, as well as knowledge of insurance and bonding requirements.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, trades, and consultants.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
