Veterinary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Care Specialist to join our team at Bhullar Enterprises Inc dba Atlas Animal Hospital. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our furry patients and their owners.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and Treat Medical Conditions: Conduct thorough physical examinations and laboratory tests to diagnose diseases or abnormal conditions in individual animals, herds, and flocks.
- Provide Medical Care: Treat sick or injured animals by prescribing medication, setting bones, dressing wounds, or performing surgery as needed.
- Preventative Care: Vaccinate animals to prevent and treat diseases, and advise clients on feeding, housing, behavior, breeding, hygiene, and general care of animals.
- Conduct Research: Participate in veterinary research related to areas such as animal nutrition, healthcare products development, and disease prevention and control.
- Enforce Regulations: Enforce government regulations in disease control and food production, including animal or animal-based food inspection.
- Perform Examinations: Conduct routine, emergency, and post-mortem examinations as required.
- Provide Additional Services: Offer a range of veterinary services, including obstetrics, dentistry, and euthanasia.
- Supervise Staff: Supervise animal health technologists and animal care workers to ensure high-quality care and service.
- Certification: Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Certification is required.
- Personal Qualities: Efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
