Logging Equipment Operator

M&M Logging INC is seeking a skilled Logging Machinery Operator to join our team. As a key member of our forestry operations, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform a variety of tasks related to pulpwood and saw log harvesting.
Key Responsibilities- Assess site and terrain before operations to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
- Operate heavy equipment, including shortwood harvesters, to perform felling, slashing, bucking, bunching, and forwarding operations.
- Work independently in a rural area setting, with occasional team collaboration.
- Meet physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs), and working in various weather conditions.
- Ensure all safety equipment and gear are used and maintained properly.
- Experience with heavy equipment operation is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a vehicle safely.
