Position Overview

We are seeking a Junior Bilingual Recruiter to become a part of our dynamic team.

The Recruiter will deliver staffing support to ensure a seamless and positive recruitment experience for all parties involved in the hiring process. Utilizing knowledge of recruitment best practices and leveraging relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, the Recruiter will actively seek top talent and efficiently fill vacancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to create effective recruitment strategies and execute comprehensive full life cycle recruiting.
  • Conduct initial screenings of candidates to present a diverse and qualified candidate pool to hiring managers.
  • Develop innovative networking strategies and social media recruiting initiatives to attract both passive and active candidates.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future openings.
  • Ensure adherence to all legal requirements pertaining to various employment laws.
  • Monitor and audit job files, tracking applicant flow diligently.
  • Prepare necessary documentation relevant to the recruitment process and onboarding of new hires.
  • Provide ongoing communication and guidance to hiring managers to align business objectives with recruitment strategies.
  • Participate in job fairs, conference calls, client meetings, and other industry-related events as needed.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.
  • A minimum of 1 year of direct recruitment experience, whether in an agency or corporate setting.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates through social media platforms including Indeed, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook.
  • Strong familiarity with talent acquisition software such as iCIMS, Oracle Recruiter, HireRight, or TextRecruit.
  • Proven experience in direct sourcing and developing a pool of qualified candidates.
  • Preferred background or knowledge in claims or insurance sectors.
  • A Bachelor's degree or a comparable mix of education and experience is required; a degree in business administration or human resources is preferred.
  • CHRP designation or progress towards it is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with a variety of internal clients and external candidates.
  • Must be adaptable, capable of multitasking, and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
