As a UPS Package Transport Specialist, you will be responsible for the efficient delivery and collection of packages from both residential and commercial locations. This position requires driving, as well as the continual lifting, lowering, and handling of packages in a dynamic and physically demanding environment. You will adhere to safe driving practices while ensuring exceptional customer service through your efficiency and commitment.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday ( Must be available to work Saturdays and all five weekdays)

Location: Specific work location details will be provided during the hiring process.

Shift Timing: Starting at 9:15 AM (Flexibility in start and end times is necessary)

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Efficiently deliver and collect UPS packages. Master and implement UPS's safe and defensive driving techniques. Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles as needed. Maintain accurate records of package deliveries. Adhere to UPS's appearance standards by wearing the designated uniform.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs. (32kg) without assistance. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Skilled in using maps, GPS devices, and navigation tools. Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday, including some Mondays. Must possess a valid Ontario G driver's license. Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents in the last three years and no more than two violations in the same period. No traffic violations in the last year and a maximum of five demerit points over the past three years. Excellent customer service abilities.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

HOURLY WAGE: $17.30 Union Collective Agreement - $35.78 per hour after seniority and 48 months of service. Overtime opportunities. Weekly payment schedule.
