About the Role

Flynn Group of Companies is seeking a skilled Service Roofing Superintendent to support our Vancouver Branch. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of roofing projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • In-Office Project Support:
    • Ensure all revisions and change orders are properly documented and accounted for.
    • Review project and billing progress with the Service Manager daily.
    • Ensure all relevant paperwork is reviewed and distributed to foremen.
    • Complete various reports, including Service Request/Field Report and work order dispatch calls to field technicians.
  • Field Crew Support:
    • Comply with regional Health and Safety requirements and Flynn policies.
    • Monitor quality, safety, and training requirements through regular site visits.
    • Order and manage Service Inventory, material best practices, and safety equipment distribution.
    • Review project progress with foremen and review field reports daily.
    • Schedule, align, and manage field crews.
    • Identify, train, and coach future Foreman and Superintendents.
    • Ensure CVOR compliance (Ontario Only).

Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a construction environment; Service Roofing experience is considered an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to form and maintain customer relations.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, stay organized, and perform in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Reliable and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain strong attention to detail.
