Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Southbridge Care Homes. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, enhancing their physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in providing direct care to residents, including personal care, mobility, and nutrition.
  • Provide emotional and social support to residents and their families, including palliative care.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Support and empower residents to maintain their independence and autonomy.

Requirements

  • PSW Program Certificate or Diploma that meets the standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, the National Association of Career Colleges, or the Ontario Community Support Association.
  • Passion and commitment to providing quality care and improving the lives of others.
  • Knowledge and experience in care planning systems and documentation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
