Turbulent is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team dedicated to building and maintaining the robust cloud infrastructure powering Star Citizen Game Cloud. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project within a collaborative and innovative environment.
Your Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with engineers to design, implement, and maintain scalable systems that ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Proactively monitor infrastructure health and identify potential issues, implementing solutions to enhance system stability and resilience.
- Lead the design and deployment of large-scale Kubernetes platforms, leveraging your expertise in K8s APIs, CNIs, CSIs, and CRIs to create robust and efficient cloud environments.
- Share your knowledge and experience by mentoring junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development within the DevOps team.
- Participate in on-call rotations, ensuring prompt resolution of critical issues and maintaining high levels of system availability during deployments.
- Continuously evaluate and implement best practices for security, risk mitigation, and resource optimization to enhance the overall efficiency and stability of the cloud infrastructure.
- Demonstrate a strong problem-solving mindset with a proven track record of delivering results in challenging technical environments.
- Possess excellent teamwork and communication skills, effectively collaborating with engineers across different teams to achieve shared goals.
- Exhibit a passion for exploring new technologies and adapting quickly to evolving industry trends.
- Maintain composure and make sound decisions under pressure, ensuring timely resolution of critical issues.
- Communicate fluently in both French and English.
- Extensive experience designing, deploying, and managing Kubernetes clusters at scale.
- In-depth knowledge of K8s APIs, CNIs, CSIs, and CRIs, with hands-on experience implementing these concepts in real-world scenarios.
- Proven ability to deploy and manage microservices within a Kubernetes environment.
- Proficiency in gRPC, HTTP/2, and Protocol Buffers for efficient communication between services.
- Experience with Go, Python, or JS in cloud-based projects.
- Operational experience with data stores and service mesh technologies.
- Expertise in monitoring solutions like Prometheus to ensure system health and performance.
