Senior Design Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and creating mechanical drawings in accordance with Conair and Transport Canada Civil Aviation standards. This role will involve participating in the development of engineering data packages and technical manuals, as well as providing design and engineering support to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and create mechanical drawings in accordance with Conair and Transport Canada Civil Aviation standards
  • Participate in the development of engineering data packages and technical manuals
  • Provide design and engineering support to internal and external customers
  • Manage 3rd party engineers and engineering firms to provide quality deliverables on time and to a high standard
  • Mentor and provide functional guidance to more junior design engineers
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • 10+ years of experience in engineering design and drafting, preferably in the aerospace industry
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Solidworks software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
