Job Title: Front-end Web Developer

Armis is seeking a skilled Front-end Web Developer to join our team of innovative thinkers and doers. As a Front-end Web Developer, you will play a crucial role in building web applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather and refine specifications and requirements
  • Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
  • Implement on-site search engine optimization (SEO) strategies
  • Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Integrate applications with 3rd party services through the use of REST APIs
  • Prior experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
  • Proficiency with HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements, microformats, and WAI-ARIA
  • Proficient working knowledge of web-based accessibility practices
  • Working knowledge of SEO principles
  • Basic proficiency with Photoshop and web design

The ideal candidate will also be skilled in video editing and graphic design.

Armis offers a competitive salary range of $78,500 to $106,500 (CAD) and a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus and pre-IPO equity. We value work-life balance and offer discretionary time off, paid holidays, and a highly inclusive and diverse workplace.
