As a Dairy Frozen Associate at Walmart Canada, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. This position requires a strong commitment to food safety and handling procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities- Zones the department to ensure efficient stock rotation and product availability.
- Rotates stock and checks for expired products to maintain a high-quality shopping experience.
- Ensures merchandise is properly signed and priced to prevent errors and discrepancies.
- Adheres to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration dates.
- Follows proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels, and maintains features to ensure a well-organized store environment.
- Keeps the area neat, clean, and organized, and free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and liquids.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 kg and stand for long periods of time.
