Job Title: Apiary Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Apiary Supervisor to join our team at Ecco Recycling and Energy Corporation. As an Apiary Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apiary, ensuring the health and productivity of our bee colonies, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apiary Management: Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our apiary, including honey production, bee health management, and equipment maintenance.
  • Bee Health Management: Monitor and control the health of our bee colonies, including the detection and treatment of diseases and pests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and facilities are in good working condition, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of apiary workers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful completion of tasks.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as apiculture or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in apiary management or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: The apiary is located in a rural area, and the work environment is outdoors with exposure to the elements.
