Position Details:
Shifts:
Part-time dishwasher – 7 shifts/28 hours biweekly, 4pm-8pm
The Kitchen Sanitation Associate plays a vital role in our community, enhancing the quality of life for residents and fostering meaningful connections.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Washing dishes, pots, glassware, and utensils in accordance with established hygiene protocols.
- Ensuring proper use of cleaning agents in dishwashing and pot-cleaning areas, utilizing the three-sink method for pot washing.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, including mopping the entire floor.
- Completing cleaning tasks as outlined in the site’s cleaning schedule.
- Receiving, unpacking, and organizing supplier deliveries as necessary.
- Notifying the team leader of any issues and suggesting appropriate corrective measures.
- Carrying out additional duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum education of Grade 10.
- Smart Serve certification and at least one year of experience in dining service.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and a strong command of both verbal and written English.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- All candidates must successfully complete the required Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Safe Food Handling Certification is an asset.
