The Plumbing Technician I is tasked with the installation, maintenance, and repair of comprehensive hot and cold water systems, HVAC systems, and various mechanical installations, including kitchen and laboratory apparatus, drainage systems, condensate return systems, and fire hydrants. Key Responsibilities
- Execute installations and repairs for water and steam systems along with associated equipment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of drainage, sewage systems, and fire hydrants.
- Provide guidance and direction for job tasks.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of a valid Provincial Trade Certification as a Plumber.
- A minimum of five years' experience as a certified plumbing professional.
- Experience in testing backflow prevention devices.
- Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
- Proficient understanding of plumbing tools and equipment.
