As a Service Technician III - Field Service with 0050 United Rentals of Canada, Inc., you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment fleet. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on complex equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
- Travel to customer job sites to repair or maintain rental or customer-owned equipment, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in the training of lower-level technicians as needed, promoting a culture of knowledge sharing and development.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of work performed, including electronic documentation and paperwork.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment delivery and pickup, meeting customer expectations.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment repair and maintenance, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Advanced knowledge of tools and equipment, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
