Job Title: Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Smart Hand Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces, as well as repairing cracks and holes. They will also be required to mix paint to the desired color and texture, measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, clean, and paint surfaces to the required standard
  • Repair cracks and holes in walls and ceilings
  • Mix paint to the desired color and texture
  • Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in the trade
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work at heights and in environments with odors
  • Willingness to relocate for the position
  • Ability to distinguish between colors and have good hand-eye coordination
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a variety of locations, including at heights and in environments with odors. They will also be required to work in a physically demanding environment and be able to lift and carry heavy objects.
