Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Shoppers Drug Mart 165 is seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign sales workers to duties and ensure they have the necessary training and support to excel in their roles.
  • Hire and train new staff members, or arrange for their training, to ensure they meet our high standards.
  • Authorize payments by cheque and manage store finances effectively.
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to meet customer demand.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure the store is well-staffed at all times.
  • Sell merchandise and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth.
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
  • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of sales workers to ensure the store runs smoothly.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
  • Dental plan, health care plan, and permanent employment.
  • English language proficiency and ability to work 30-40 hours per week.
