Lunchroom Supervisor Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to support students in various classroom settings and provide lunch break supervision on a daily or supply basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students during lunch hour recess and ensure their safety and security.
  • Set up and remove lunch room equipment, and supervise the disposal of lunch refuse in suitable containers.
  • Deal with discipline problems in a manner prescribed by the Principal and report significant disciplinary actions.
  • Carry out assigned noon hour supervision duties.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children.
  • Ability to communicate with staff, students, and parents.
  • Willingness to work with students with different needs and capabilities.
  • Ability to work as a team player.
  • Proven record of attendance and punctuality.

Working Conditions:

Lunchroom supervisors will work approximately 1-2 hours per day during the school year from September to June.
