Position Overview

The Huron Club Restaurant & Bar Inc. is seeking a dedicated line cook to contribute to our culinary team. This role is essential in delivering high-quality meals and ensuring a seamless kitchen operation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes.
  • Accommodate customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Conduct inspections of kitchen and food service areas to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Train new staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Manage inventory by ordering supplies and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure cleanliness of kitchen and work areas.
  • Organize and manage buffets and banquets as needed.
  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency.
Work Environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
