Position Overview

The role of a Culinary Support Staff involves various responsibilities that contribute to the efficient operation of the kitchen. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic environment and are passionate about food service.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food usage.
  • Package food for take-out orders.
  • Assist in the preparation, heating, and finishing of simple food items.
  • Process customer orders effectively.
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in appropriate storage areas.
  • Manage kitchen waste and trash disposal.
  • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors.
Work Environment

This position is set in a fast-paced kitchen environment, requiring adaptability and efficiency.

Physical Requirements

Candidates should be able to handle weights of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).

Experience

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
