Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Driver Supervisor to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our fleet operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our drivers and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Manage Driver Team: Oversee a team of drivers for our western locations, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure optimal performance.
  • Operational Oversight: Monitor and maintain compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, implement improvement plans, and maintain accurate records and reports related to driver activities and performance.
  • Logistics Coordination: Schedule and coordinate driver assignments, routes, and deliveries to meet operational goals and customer demands.
  • Customer Service: Work closely with dispatchers and drivers to ensure timely service to our customers.
Requirements
  • AZ or DZ license preferred, roll-off or lugger experience is an asset.
  • 2+ years experience in a supervisory role.
  • 5+ years experience in the transportation, logistics, or solid waste industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations, safety protocols, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a track record of making effective decisions under pressure.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and transportation management software and technology for tracking and reporting.
  • GEOTAB experience is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
