Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Little Footprints Academy (Peace Arch) Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in creating a nurturing environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that meet the diverse needs of children
  • Support the development of children's skills and abilities through engaging activities and play-based learning
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children, including preparing snacks and arranging rooms or furniture
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to keep accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Availability: Must be available to start on the advertised start date
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
