Project Coordinator/Quotations Specialist - Plumbing

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator/Quotations Specialist to join our team at Bartle & Gibson. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects, providing quotations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and process incoming calls and orders
  • Work with the quotes team to transition won jobs into orders
  • Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and the outside sales team to ensure timely delivery of project materials
  • Contact current customers to identify new products and potential up-selling opportunities
  • Enter orders into the system and source materials for customers when not in stock
  • Maintain knowledge of current products and stay up-to-date on new products
  • Provide product information, pricing quotations, and follow-up on quotes
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with order taking, product, pricing, deliveries, and overall service
  • Support Counter Sales and handle returns as required
  • Work closely with others to ensure customer needs are met
Requirements:
  • Minimum grade 12 education required
  • Minimum of two years' sales experience (counter sales, inside sales, or outside sales) required
  • Post-secondary courses in Plumbing preferred
  • Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, plumbing contractors, and the public
  • Knowledge of the electrical industry or a background in plumbing products would be considered an asset
