Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Labourer for our Construction Division. This role is based in Stony Plain, Alberta, and may involve working out of town approximately 50% of the time, including occasional night shifts. As a Labourer, you will play a vital role in supporting our road marking projects while ensuring compliance with safe work practices.

Main Responsibilities:

Your primary duties will include:

  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Assisting in various road marking projects as part of the Construction Division.
  • Demonstrating versatility, reliability, and a positive attitude in all tasks.
  • Providing essential support to ensure efficient operations within the team.

Requirements:
  • A high school diploma or GED is an asset.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (Class 5) with a recent commercial driver's abstract.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting up to 40kg/90lbs.
  • Willingness to work out of town for extended periods.
  • Availability for occasional night shifts.
  • Previous construction experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and practices is beneficial.
  • Ability to work in varying outdoor conditions.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Compliance with our Drug and Alcohol Policy, including a strict no-tolerance stance on Cannabis use.
