Senior Mechanical Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Designer to join our team at TalentSphere Staffing Solutions. As a Senior Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems for various building projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and development of mechanical systems for building projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, specifications, and documentation using Revit, and conduct site visits to ensure design feasibility.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to integrate mechanical systems into overall building designs, and perform calculations and simulations to ensure system efficiency and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and engineers, and review and approve design documents to ensure accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, and a minimum of 8+ years of experience in mechanical design, with a focus on building systems.
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software, and strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and teamwork abilities, as well as a Professional Engineering license/designation.
