Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bookkeeper to join our team at OM Accounting Professional Corporation.
Job Summary:The Senior Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
- Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
- Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
- Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns
- Prepare trial balance of books
- Reconcile accounts
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in accounting software and systems
