Company Overview:

Our client is a prominent M&E consulting engineering firm specializing in retrofit initiatives for clients in the high-rise residential, institutional, and commercial sectors. Their expanding office is currently in search of a skilled engineer to take on a technical and project leadership position.

Position Summary:

As a Senior Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the engineering and design of Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Protection, and Low-Voltage systems pertinent to building construction projects. You will collaborate with clients, colleagues, and sub-consultants to ensure the delivery of technically robust projects. Your duties will encompass addressing design and construction challenges, as well as coordinating with Architects, Clients, and other consulting disciplines to guarantee the successful and timely execution of projects. Additionally, you will supervise multiple junior and intermediate engineers/designers and engage in project management while serving as the technical authority on various projects.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will hold a university degree or college diploma in Electrical Engineering. Possession of a (P.Eng), (E.IT), (C.E.T), or (LEED) designation is advantageous. Candidates should have 5-10+ years of relevant engineering and design experience in Power Distribution, Lighting, Fire Alarm, and Low-Voltage systems for high-rise, institutional, and commercial construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills, is essential for this role.
