The School Psychologist is a key member of the District Staff, holding a position of special responsibility under the direction of the Director of Instruction, Learner Support or designate.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with district staff to develop and implement strategies that support student learning and well-being.
- Provide psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation.
- Work with teachers and other educators to develop and implement instructional strategies that meet the diverse needs of students.
- Participate in district-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes and support the achievement of district goals.
- Master's or doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field.
- Valid certification or licensure as a school psychologist.
- Experience working in a school district or similar setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
