Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Family Medicine Specialist to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As a Family Medicine Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including routine check-ups, health screenings, and disease management.
- Conduct thorough medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, guidelines, and best practices to provide evidence-based care.
Requirements:
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Current CMPA coverage.
- Current ACLS, PALS, and NRP certification.
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French).
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
- Demonstrated ability to respect confidentiality.
- Good work and attendance record.
Working Conditions:
- Completes and maintains a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check, and Child Abuse Registry Check, as appropriate.
- Requires a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle, and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00.
