Job Summary

Teja Trucking Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Goods: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs, to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Logistics and Administration: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as perform other administrative tasks as required.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other drivers and team members to achieve company goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Air Brakes Endorsement and a Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Work Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess flexibility, organization, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
Working Conditions

As a Long Haul Truck Driver with Teja Trucking Ltd, you can expect to work a regular schedule of 50 hours per week, with opportunities for overtime as needed. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.
