Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Counter Sales Representative specializing in automotive parts to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. This is a permanent position that requires a strong commitment to customer service and a thorough understanding of automotive components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Answer phone calls and relay messages efficiently.
  • Office Duties: Perform general administrative tasks to support operations.
  • Customer Service: Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries.
  • Product Knowledge: Advise customers on the appropriate use of goods and parts.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle cash transactions accurately.
  • Inventory Management: Identify, label, and catalogue received items.
  • Parts Distribution: Issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in the inventory control system.
  • Order Management: Prepare and track work orders and requisition orders.
  • Logistics: Process incoming requisitions and manage shipping and receiving of parts.
  • Warehouse Duties: Store items appropriately in the warehouse or supply area.
Work Environment

The work environment is characterized by:

  • Noise Levels: A noisy atmosphere typical of a repair and service establishment.
  • Physical Demands: Tasks may include bending, crouching, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
  • Weight Handling: Ability to lift items weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory control software, MS Office, and internet applications.
  • Equipment Knowledge: Experience with industrial lift trucks and forklifts.
  • Parts Specialization: Familiarity with agricultural machinery and heavy equipment.
Health and Safety

All candidates must undergo a criminal record check and possess a valid driver's license. Safety equipment, including steel-toed safety boots, is required.
