Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

Aacha jee Transport Inc is seeking a reliable and skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, adhering to schedules and deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods and materials, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Obtain special permits and documents required to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and other maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and long hours on the road.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
