Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technical Assistant to join our team at Michael Attia Pharmacien Inc. As a Pharmacy Technical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prescription Management: Verify and enter client information into our database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
  • Client Service: Prepare medications for clients, compound and package pharmaceutical products, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Administrative Tasks: Bill third-party insurers, maintain prescription records, and perform other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
  • Certifications: Pharmacy Technician Certification is a must.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, organized, team player, flexibility, and ability to multitask.
Work Environment

This is a temporary position, working 35-40 hours per week. Bilingualism is required, with the ability to communicate effectively in both official languages.
