Security Officer

Job Title: Security Guard
Job Summary:
AFIMAC Canada is seeking licensed Security Guards for various projects throughout Alberta. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing security services to clients in a variety of settings, including labour disruptions, organized protests, and man-made crises.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide security services to clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Monitor and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Conduct regular patrols of client premises to identify and mitigate potential security risks
- Respond to emergency situations, such as fires or medical emergencies
Requirements:
- Valid security guard license in the province of Alberta
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice within Alberta
- Ability to work 84 hours per week, including weekends and holidays
- Able to sit, walk, stand, and drive for extended periods
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Canadian resident and legally entitled to work in Canada
- Previous experience dealing with confrontational situations and ability to de-escalate
- Excellent report writing skills
