Position Overview

Join the dynamic GIS team at Pelmorex Corp. as a Geographic Information Systems Analyst. This role involves a comprehensive engagement with data management and spatial analysis, contributing to the enhancement of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data Management: Organize, update, and validate spatial datasets utilizing the ArcGIS and FME software.
  • Mapping and Reporting: Create informative maps and detailed reports for various departments within the organization.
  • Process Automation: Assist in the automation of spatial analysis workflows to streamline operations.
  • Data Integration: Gather, analyze, and integrate new and updated spatial data, ensuring optimal presentation of information.
  • Documentation: Document and test all processes related to the creation of profiling files.
  • Impact Analysis: Identify potential impacts of data modifications across different business units.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Geography or a related field, with a strong grasp of world geography. Key skills include:

  • Excellent communication and report writing abilities.
