Position Overview

This full-time, on-site position (located in Surrey) is ideal for a CPA with at least 2 years of experience in public accounting. The responsibilities include preparing financial statements, engaging in tax strategy development, and leveraging accounting expertise to advise clients on both personal and corporate tax matters.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute compilation, review, audit, and tax engagements
  2. Prepare and assess financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting principles, and manage corporate tax return preparation
  3. Communicate effectively with clients and tax authorities
  4. Prepare personal tax returns and necessary information returns
  5. Guide and mentor junior accounting personnel
  6. Conduct complex reconciliations and address discrepancies in financial records
  7. Stay informed on updates in accounting regulations and standards, applying necessary changes

Required Qualifications

  1. Canadian CPA designation (or candidates in the final stages of the CPA program)
  2. Bachelor's degree
  3. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a CPA firm
  4. Expertise in finance and accounting
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  6. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
  7. Proficiency in accounting software, tax software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation Package

Base salary ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
