Job Title: Physiotherapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at St. George's Physiotherapy Clinic. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with various injuries or disabilities.
  • Provide direct patient care, including positioning patients for treatments, setting up and dismantling equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices.
  • Process claims, maintain supplies, and perform general clerical duties.
  • Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients, and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 5 years or more, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting.
