Job Title: Primary Teacher

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join our team at Bowen Island Community School. This is a part-time position, working 0.4 FTE, and is effective immediately until June 30, 2025.

Job Summary:
  • Teach primary level students in a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless student transitions and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians to keep them informed of student progress.
Requirements:
  • BC Teaching Certification or equivalent.
  • Experience working with primary level students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
