Security Officer Full Time UHN Reactivation Care Centre

Paladin Security is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Security Guard to join our team at the UHN Reactivation Care Centre. As a Security Guard, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and visitors.
Job Summary:We are looking for a Security Guard who is able to work independently and as part of a team to provide a high level of security and customer service. The successful candidate will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing support to clients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure personal, building, and equipment security.
- Watch for and report irregularities, including security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations.
- Utilize two-way radio and computer applications for communicating site activities.
- Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.
- Offer support to any person in need, including providing good customer service and responding to emergency situations involving violent individuals and injuries.
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR - Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor).
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must.
- Previous experience in security, by-law, parking enforcement - considered an asset.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
