We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Injection Moulding Machine Lead Operator to join our team at 600956 Ontario Ltd. in a permanent position.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to distinguish between colours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and make minor adjustments to equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Weigh resins, colorants, and other chemicals according to formulae to produce high-quality materials.
  • Monitor and inspect the quality of material produced to meet production standards.
  • Operate mixing machines to blend plastic and other chemicals to a specific consistency and viscosity.
  • Set up and operate one or more moulding machines to mould plastic products.
  • Follow formulation cards to mix resin batches for the injection moulding process.
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production.
  • Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines to optimize production.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in injection moulding or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a hot and noisy environment.
  • Relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Willingness to relocate.
