Summer Camp Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Summer Camp Manager to join our team at Pear Tree Education. As a Summer Camp Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of one of our summer camp locations, ensuring a safe and engaging experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the summer camp, including supervising teachers and staff
  • Coordinate with Pear Tree administrators and directors to ensure smooth camp operations
  • Implement Pear Tree's COVID safety plan and summer camp policies
  • Take photographs of camp activities and events
  • Accompany classes during outdoor time and assist with weekly pack up
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Education (Elementary) degree from a recognized institution
  • B.C. Ministry of Education Certification
  • 3+ years of experience teaching elementary level in British Columbia
  • Valid First Aid certificate
  • Experience working in a camp or summer school environment an asset
  • Must have a driving license and own vehicle
  • Must have a cellphone
  • Must be able to pass a criminal record check
