About the Job

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Snow Shoveler - Landscape Maintenance at Green Prairie Landscaping Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions and maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants.
  • Cut grass and rake and collect refuse to maintain a clean and tidy work site.
  • Remove litter and garbage, and lay sod or seed as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including small engine equipment and pick-up trucks.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure optimal growth and health.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires working outdoors in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work under pressure, and perform repetitive tasks.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in landscape maintenance or a related field is an asset.
  • Dependability, flexibility, and a strong work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle for transportation to and from work sites.
Working Conditions

This is a seasonal role with variable hours, ranging from 10 to 50 hours per week. You will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme cold and heat.
