We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Aquatic Safety Specialist to join our team at the YMCA of Three Rivers. As a Swim Instructor and Lifeguard, you will be responsible for creating a safe and enjoyable aquatic environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities- Foster a culture of safety by adhering to lifeguarding procedures and protocols.
- Develop and implement engaging swim lesson plans, progress reports, and evaluations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a positive and inclusive team dynamic.
- Enforce rules and regulations to ensure a safe and accident-free environment.
- Current National Lifeguard certification.
- Standard First Aid with CPR-C and AED.
- Swim Instructor certification.
- Aquatic fitness certification and/or advanced instructor certifications are an asset.
As an Aquatic Safety Specialist with the YMCA of Three Rivers, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience, develop your skills, and make a positive impact in our community. We offer a competitive compensation package, including a guaranteed starting hourly rate of $17.50, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
