Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at World Wide ASG Logistics Inc.
Job Summary:The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation, freight forwarding, and warehouse management. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plans to prioritize tasks and manage workload
- Organize and coordinate activities with other work units or departments
- Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, including transportation, freight forwarding, and warehouse management
- Plan and organize operational logistics, including scheduling and coordinating activities
- Prepare and submit reports on operational performance and productivity
- Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment and machinery
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed
- Resolve work problems and provide technical advice to improve productivity and product quality
- Recruit and hire staff as needed
- Train workers in duties and policies
- Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure timely completion
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Organize and maintain inventory levels
- 5-10 years of experience in logistics or a related field
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Physical ability to handle heavy loads and work in a warehouse environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
